Disposing of Hazardous Waste
All chemicals must be clearly and completely labeled at all times.
Used or unwanted chemicals constitute hazardous waste, and must be disposed of.
- Procedures are described at the Environmental Health and Safety Web Site
- Hazardous waste must be properly labeled before disposal. Download an appropriate Hazardous Waste Label,print it out, and attach it to the container.
- Dispose of labeled waste containers:
- Call Environmental Services at 8-1450 to schedule a pickup
- Drop off in Brown 1158
- Wednesdays: 2:15 - 3:15
- Fridays: 2:15 - 2:45
